Actor Karan Soni, known for acting in the Deadpool films, is making his way into animation voice acting with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Soni is going to be the voice of Pavitr Prabhakar, who is an alternative universe version of Spider-Man, who is known as Spider-Man India.
Across the Spider-Verse is a sequel to 2018’s Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. It will also feature once again, Shameik Moore as Spider-Man/Miles Morales and Hailey Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen. Sony has it set for a June 2nd release.
Soni previously played a cab driver in Deadpool opposite Ryan Reynolds and was also in Deadpool 2.
