Multiple sources are claiming tha Paul McCartney is collaborating for an upcoming Rolling Stones release. Reports suggest that McCartney “has recorded bass parts for a forthcoming Rolling Stones project being helmed by 2021 Grammy producer of the year Andrew Watt.” Reports are also suggesting that Ringo Starr may also contribute to the yet to be announced album.
Variety reported that, “Recording sessions took place in Los Angeles in recent weeks and, while it’s unclear which tracks will make the final cut — or whether McCartney and Starr would end up on the same song — the album’s production is nearing the mixing phase.”
Potential news of a collaboration between the Rolling Stones and McCartney is something that is looking more and more concrete. The two legendary artists have long respected each other and the recently reported rumors are a cause for real excitement amongst most music fans.
