Jimin of BTS Has Announced Very First Solo Album, ’FACE’

Jimin of BTS has announced details of his upcoming solo album, FACE, on Tuesday, February, 21st. The news about the collection that is due on March 24th, was released alongside a 35 second video that features ambient music and water droplets sending out ripples on the surface of the water that eventually forms the album’s title.

A Weverse post giving additional details describes the solo effort as being about “Jimin facing himself head-on as he gets ready for his next step as a solo artist.” Currently no track list or single has been announced.

Jimin’s first solo full length album will come after fellow K-pop singer TAEYANG of BIG BANG,, Vibe, which gave both stars their first visit to the Billboard Hot 100. Jimin to date, has released the solo tracks “Lie,” “Serendipity,” and “With You” from the soundtrack to the TvN drama Our Blues.

So far during BTS’ hiatus, each member has started off on their own solo ventures. J-Hope has released the album Jack in the Box, Suga has released the dates for his first solo tour, RM has dropped his debut album, Indigo, Jin worked on “The Astronaut” single with Coldplay, Jung Kook has teamed up with Charlie Puth for the track “Left and Right” and V starred in the reality show , In The Soop: Friendcation.
