Alternative rock band Matchbox Twenty recently made an announcement of their first new album in 11 years and also released the album’s lead single “Wild Dogs (Running In A Slow Dream).” The brand new album is titled, Where The Light Goes, and is set for release on May 26th, via Atlantic Records. The album was produced by Gregg Wattenberg along with band members Paul Doucette and Kyle Cook.
Matchbox Twenty also has announced a 50 plus date spring/summer tour. The tour is produced by Live Nation and will start on May 16th at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, and end on August 6th at Chicago’s Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.The tour will be supported by singer songwriter Matt Nathanson for the first half of the tour and singer/songwriter and producer Ben Rector for the second half.
The band is also adding two concert dates, with one on May 2st at Concord Pavilion in Concord, California, and one on May 27th at The Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
General on sale tickets for the freshly added shows can be found via Ticketmaster starting on March 24th, at 10 am local time.
