Guns N’ Roses recently announced a world tour starting on June 5th in Tel Aviv, Israel. The tour will head to the U.S. in August and run through the Fall, ending on October 16th in Vancouver. The general on sale for tickets starts on Friday, February, 24th.
It will mark Guns N’ Roses first U.S. dates since October 2021, when they finished a 25 show tour with a pair of concerts in Florida. Guns N’ Roses also released two new tracks, Absurd and Hard Skool, in 2021, marking their first content with Axl Rose, Duff McKagan, and Slash since 1994.
Slash also confirmed that they worked on other songs while off the road, due to the pandemic, stating, “There’s a handful of those songs that we absolutely fixed up and did when we were in lockdown, Those have yet to be released, so those are going to come out. … We’re just going to put out like one or two songs, and another one or two songs, and I think that’s going to be pretty much all of them. I’m not sure exactly how many we did in total.”
Guns N’ Roses also celebrated the Use Your Illusion albums just last fall with the release of an expanded box set, that includes an updated version of “November Rain.” Th original video became the first rock video to reach 2 billion YouTube views.
