Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath Set To Release an Autobiography

Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath announced that his autobiography is set to be published on June 6th. With the hardcover copy of the book costing fans $29.99 the book will be published by Harper Collins.

Harper Collins describes the book that is titled, “Into the Void From Birth to Black Sabbath — And Beyond” as “A rollicking, effusive, and candid memoir by the heavy metal musician and founding member of Black Sabbath, covering his years as the band’s bassist and main lyricist through his later-career projects, and detailing how one of rock’s most influential bands formed and prevailed”.

In the book, Butler tells of his story, from the start of the band as a blues quartet in Birmingham, through the many lineup changes, and the band’s vital, later years.

The autobiography gives a softer look into the heavy metal group as well as a detailed history of one of rock’s most exhilarating bands.
