After staying in a haunted house while producing their latest album Medicine at Midnight, the ever-entertaining Foo Fighters will be putting out a comedy-horror film centered around “the band as they move into a notorious mansion in Encino that is known for its dark rock and roll history in an attempt to begin recording their long-awaited tenth album.”
Band members Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, and Rami Jaffee will lead Studio 666 as the film’s stars. Joining them will be a list of comedy greats like Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, Jeff Garlin, as well actresses Jenna Ortega and Leslie Grossman.
Studio 666, directed by BJ McDonnell, was recently acquired by Open Road Films and is set to release on February 25th of next year.
