Tonight, on Thursday Night Football, the Miami Dolphins host the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC primetime clash. While it appears the Dolphins’ season is all but lost, the Ravens look to solidify their dominance in the AFC as a top Superbowl contender. MVP-hopeful Lamar Jackson looks to continue his success in the passing and running game as the most effective and lethal dual-quarterback in football.
In basketball news, there were many games played Wednesday night, as the better teams all came out triumphant. Most notably, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat, 120-117 in overtime, in a 2020 NBA Championship rematch. The Golden State Warriors defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 123-110, as the Warriors become the first team to win ten games this season. Andrew Wiggins led the Warriors with 35 points in the victory, but the top-scorer was Timberwolves shooting forward Anthony Edwards with 48 points.
