Coheed and Cambria have announced a unique release for their newest album Vaxis II: A Window Of The Waking Mind. While new album releases are often a big deal, Coheed and Cambria are taking it up a notch by partnering with Twitch, a streaming service, in order to both promote Independent Record Store Month as well as promote their new album. The broadcast will go live at 10:00AM EDT / 7:00AM PT showcasing a full band performance and book reading Live from Rough Trade NYC. Coheed and Cambria are not scheduled to perform until 12:00PM EDT / 9:00AM PT, meaning you have plenty of time to prepare for a mind-blowing performance.
The Twitch partnered event is promoting the albums pre-release limited edition deluxe box set, including a hardcover novel titled “A Window of The Waking Mind”, an exclusive Quintillan Speaker Containment Unit Lamp, a three panel fold-out poster of the cover art, and A Window of The Waking Mind black card granting early access to buying tickets. In addition to that, those who preorder will receive autographed copies and their names included within the pages of the hardcover novel that is included in the box set. So if you are interested make sure to preorder before the deadline, Thursday June 23rd.
