Ciara Brings Baby Bump to the Runway in Surprise Paris Fashion Week Appearance

Ciara turned Paris Fashion Week into a major crossover moment between music, fashion and motherhood with a surprise trip down the runway.

The Grammy-winning singer appeared as a model during Junya Watanabe’s Spring 2027 ready-to-wear presentation in Paris on Oct. 3, bringing an unexpected celebrity presence to the designer’s show while proudly putting her pregnancy in the spotlight.

Ciara, 40, is expecting her fifth child, and her runway wardrobe made her growing baby bump a central part of the presentation rather than something to conceal.

For one trip down the catwalk, the singer stepped out in a colorful purple and pink bodysuit accompanied by elaborate silver accessories. The theatrical ensemble included jeweled detailing, a statement headpiece, a substantial black belt and vivid red pointed boots.

Her second look continued the bold color palette with a crop top and leggings, complemented by a camel-toned trench coat. A black hat decorated with silver chains completed the outfit.

The unexpected runway turn earned an enthusiastic response from the audience and gave Ciara another opportunity to blend her musical celebrity with her long-running presence in the fashion world.

Russell Wilson also celebrated his wife’s appearance on social media, adding his support to a moment that arrived during an especially eventful year for the couple.

Ciara and Wilson revealed in September that their family is growing again. The new baby will be Ciara’s fifth child and the couple’s fourth together.

The pair married in 2016 and are parents to daughters Sienna and Amora and son Win. Ciara is also the mother of son Future Zahir from her previous relationship with rapper Future.

For Ciara, the Paris appearance offered something considerably different from the traditional celebrity seat in the front row. This time, she was part of the show itself, turning the runway into a celebration of high fashion, performance and her latest chapter as a mother.
