According to ratedrnb.com, Babyface and Ella Mai have reached Number one at R&B radio with their song “Keeps On Fallin’.” The song was inspired by Tevin Campbell and reached more than 9.4 million audience impressions, with plays from 86 radio stations. Earning each artist their second time at the top this year. Babyface took to Instagram to thank R&B Radio for supporting the track stating, “Thank you to all of radio that have supported “Keeps On Fallin!” Me and @EllaMai appreciate all the love and support!” The 11 time Grammy winner’s previous high was “No Stoppin Us.” A Charlie Wilson led track that also featured Johnny Gill and Ki-Ci Hailey, that eventually made its way to the top of Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart for three weeks.
Mai also saw success back in June with “DFMU,” that made its way up to Number one on the Adult R&B chart. The song was coproduced by Mustard and J. Holt with the track appearing on Mai’s album, Heart On My Sleeve that was released in May. Mai is also touring along with Mary J. Blige on the Good Morning Gorgeous Tour. Her setlist includes material from her Grammy nominated self-titled debut album as well as music from Heart On My Sleeve.
