Babyface recently released a video for “Liquor,” featuring Ari Lennox. The video was directed by Jean Estene and filmed at The Peppermint Club in West Hollywood, California. Lennox can be seen in the video coming from behind a red curtain bringing seduction to the stage for a male onlooker. Meanwhile, Babyface plays a bartender who pours a glass of champagne, before Lennox gives it to the man who she is tempting.
The track itself appears on Babyface’s collaborative 2022 album, Girls Night Out, that was released on Capitol Records. The album also features tracks alongside Kehlani, Muni Long, Queen Naija, Sevyn Streeter, Coco Jones, Tiana Major9, Ella Mai, and others.
Just last week, Babyface decided to reissue Girls Night Out as Girls Night Out (Extended), along with two additional songs. Early in February, Babyface had his first solo release, “As a Matter of Fact,” in eight years. Co-writing the track and co-producing it alongside Tommy Brown. Babyface is also currently on tour with Anita Baker.
Meanwhile, Ari Lennox is on tour in order to support her album, age/sex/location. She also recently announced a European portion of her tour starting in the spring.
