According to ratedrnb.com, Alicia Keys recently earned nine new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. “Fallin’,” off of her debut album, Song In A Minor, is now 3x multi-platinum after selling over three million equivalent units. “If I Ain’t Got You,” from Keys’ second album LP The Diary of Alicia Keys has advanced to 5x multi-platinum, while “You Don’t Know Name” is now certified platinum. Her third album, As I Am, has “No One” as 8x multi-platinum, only two million units away from diamond status. “Un-thinkable,” which was co-written along with Drake, is now 3x multi-platinum. Meanwhile, Doesn’t Mean Anything,” is now certified gold after accumulating 500,000 equivalent units. “Girl on Fire,” is now certified 6x multi-platinum. The title track also helped earn Best R&B Album at the 56th Grammy Awards back in 2014. Her 2004 duet with Usher, “My Boo,” also had an update, now certified 4x multi-platinum.
Just last week, Keys finished up her ALICIA + KEYS World Tour, supporting her latest two albums, ALICIA and KEYS. Meanwhile, in April Keys released “City of Gods (Part II),” with the original “City of Gods” also recently being certified as gold with 500,000 equivalent units.
