The world of music news has been overtaken by Adele’s new chapter. In less than 24 hours, the British singer was able to become Spotify’s most-streamed song within a single day—breaking a record previously held by K-pop group BTS for their song “Butter.”
“Easy on Me” also broke a record on Amazon Music by receiving the most first-day streams of any song in the platform’s history.
Released at the end of last week, fans seem to be head over heels for the new Adele track, and anticipation for 30, her upcoming album coming on November 19th, has grown even more since the single’s drop.
