If you thought last year’s $3 price hike for Apple TV meant it’d be safe from further increases, you were wrong. Apple is raising prices yet again, with the streamer now costing $2 more per month.
As PCMag reports, Apple’s monthly TV subscription will now set you back $14.99, up from last year’s $12.99. A yearly subscription is also less affordable at $119.99, compared with its previous $99.99 price, which had remarkably remained unchanged during 2025’s increase.
In just the last two years, Apple has raised its monthly cost by 50%, which may be due to expanded sports coverage, including the addition of Formula 1 and Major League Soccer games.
Once upon a time, Apple TV launched for $4.99 per month in late 2019, with the price increasing over the last seven years as its selection of TV shows, films, and sports has grown. The catalog remains smaller than that of many of its rivals because it has focused on producing original, high-quality programming, including award winners like Ted Lasso, Severance, Pluribus, and The Studio.
The brand’s all-encompassing services bundle, Apple One, is also increasing by $2 per month. It now costs $21.95 per month for an individual subscription, up from $19.95 for a package including Apple Music, TV, Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud+ storage.
Changes to individual Apple One subscriptions were inevitable after a price hike for Family and Premier plans rolled out last month. It also increased the price of a standard Apple Music subscription by $1 per month.
These changes take effect immediately for new subscribers, while those on monthly rolling contracts will be notified before their next payment.
