Country stars Lainey Wilson and Shaboozey are heading to Central Park this fall as part of a genre-spanning lineup assembled for the 2026 Global Citizen Festival.
The annual music and advocacy event will return to the Great Lawn in New York City’s Central Park on September 26, bringing together some of the biggest names in country, rock, pop, R&B and K-pop.
Wilson and Shaboozey will share the bill with Lenny Kravitz, John Legend and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean are also set to take part, with their appearance celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Score, the landmark Fugees album.
Actor and longtime Global Citizen Ambassador Hugh Jackman will host the event. Rachel Brosnahan and Gayle King are also scheduled to appear during the festival.
As usual, getting through the gates involves more than simply buying a ticket. Fans can earn free admission by taking action in support of Global Citizen campaigns. This year, the organization is focusing on efforts that include helping more children gain access to education, supporting farmers who provide food for their communities and expanding access to electricity around the world.
The combination of Wilson and Shaboozey gives country music a prominent place on a bill designed to reach audiences well beyond any single genre. Alongside them, the festival will move from Kravitz’s rock catalog and Legend’s R&B and pop material to the international following of TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
The festival has been bringing music and advocacy together in Central Park since 2012. Over the years, its stages have welcomed artists including Beyoncé, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon and Foo Fighters.
With another eclectic roster headed for the Great Lawn, the 2026 edition continues that formula: major artists, a massive New York gathering and a message aimed at turning the attention generated by the music into action.
