Beyoncé just earned her 21st top ten single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, after her current single “Cuff It” has jumped from the number 38 spot to number ten. The track debuted at number 13 on the Hot 100 during the same week that “Break My Soul” rose to the top. Marking the highest debut on the popular singles chart for any song from Renaissance.
“Cuff It,” was co-produced by Beyoncé, Raphael Saadiq, The-Dream, Nova Wav and Rissi. It also was able to achieve number one status simultaneously on R&B, urban and rhythmic radio formats.
As fans keep waiting for an official video release, the song’s lyric visual has gotten over 30 million views on YouTube. There have also been over 2.6 million TikTok videos that have been created using the audio from the track.
Meanwhile, at the 2023 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé is up for nine nominations, including three in the general field, Album of the year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. Beyoncé nabbed a Best R&B Song nod for “Cuff It,” that marks her eighth time being nominated in this category, with four wins. She also took home her last trophy for “Drunk in Love” featuring JAY-Z at the 57th Grammy awards in 2015. The 65th Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah, is set to air on Sunday, February fifth at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT on CBS as well as stream live and be on demand on paramount+.
