Disney and Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ opened this weekend in over 4,000 theaters earning rave reviews and stunning box office numbers, earning over $200 million in box office in the US, and over $315 million worldwide, breaking records and stereotypes in many ways.
‘Peter Rabbit’ drove nearly $17 million in weekend numbers, while ‘50 Shades of Freed,’ ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,’ and ‘15:17 to Paris,’ rounded out the top five. ‘The Greatest Showman,’ ‘Early Man,’ ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure,’ ‘Winchester,’ and ‘The Post’ finished in the top 10 this weekend.
After two years in first run, Harry Connick Jr.’s talk show ‘Harry’ has come to an end. The show was a casual conversation about today’s topics but has failed to break through the ratings winners circle.
