The MLB season is in full swing and we have yet to take a look at who is dominating on the mound. Today, let’s take a look at the best when it comes to pitchers in both leagues. Who has the most wins? Who is stifling the most batters? Who is shutting down the opponent in the ninth inning?
Not surprisingly, Max Scherzer leads the way in the MLB with six wins. There are two very familiar names second in this statistic, as Corey Kluber and Luis Severino have both tallied five wins so far.
When it comes to earned run average, Johnny Cueto has been above the rest clearly. He’s the lone pitcher in baseball with a sub-1.00 ERA! His 0.84 ERA puts him first while Sean Manaea and Jarlin Garcis rank second and third at 1.03 and 1.09.
Finally, there’s only one pitcher in baseball with 12 saves and that would be Edwin Davis of the Mariners. Wade Davis has been dominant in Colorado and has 11 saves while division rival Brad Boxberger has 10 with the Diamondbacks.
