Your 2016 MTV VMA Winners

The 2016 MTV VMA’s ceremony was held in New York City last night, showcasing Rihanna who opened the festivities with a medley of her greatest hits; and the glitter and glamour of the best Pop/Urban/Hip Hop and coolest young artists around.

The award show began on MTV in 1984, the ‘Moonman’ being the coveted prize. Most people forget (or aren’t old enough to remember) that the new MTV channel used an Apollo 11 cartoon with colorful graphics to kick off the new medium – thus the ‘Moonman’ was born.
