Carole King’s precious piano, the instrument heard on her 1971 ‘Sweet Season’s album is up for auction at Christie’s, scheduled for April 20th in New York City. The song’s ‘Locomotion’ and other classics were written and recorded with this piano; you can see it for yourself at Christie’s Rockefeller Galleries, April 12th through the 20th. The piano is expected to go between $40,000 and $60,000 at auction.
