Starting in 2026, WWE’s biggest spectacles—like WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble—will have a new digital home: ESPN’s direct-to-consumer streaming platform.
In a major media shakeup, WWE and ESPN have inked a deal that gives the sports entertainment giant exclusive U.S. streaming rights for its premium live events on ESPN’s upcoming platform. The partnership not only includes WWE’s marquee two-night shows, but also fan favorites like Money in the Bank and Survivor Series. Pre- and post-show content will also stream exclusively through ESPN.
“WWE has an immense, devoted and passionate fan base that we’re excited to super-serve,” said ESPN chairman Jimmy Pitaro, highlighting the synergy between sports and sports entertainment.
The move marks a major transition from WWE’s current streaming home on Peacock, signaling a shift in strategy for both companies. ESPN’s new streaming service, launching August 21, 2026, at $29.99/month, will offer access to all ESPN linear channels and ABC sports content.
Mark Shapiro of TKO Group, WWE’s parent company, emphasized ESPN’s ability to amplify storytelling and spectacle: “We are proud to reinforce the ‘E’ in ESPN.”
For fans, it’s a new era of wrestling entertainment—this time, ringside seats come with a Wi-Fi connection.
