With the season just getting started there isn’t a lot of data yet for College Women’s gymnastics team rankings, but there is some out there. Oklahoma came out strong with a 197.925, the second best opening meet score in NCAA history. Head coach KJ Kindler made the best use of her team as she could with the lowest counting score of the meet being 9.825. While, Florida got started with 197.750, which marks the highest opening score in the programs history. Although the home meet against lower ranked opponents wasn’t a great test of their abilities.
California had a great performance from freshman eMjae Frazier, and returning performers like Maddie Williams, Mya Lauzon, and Gabby Perea appear to have upped their game as well. Marking a program best debut performance from the Golden Bears as well.
