The Nashville Predators were one of the best teams in hockey this season, but they won’t be playing any more games in 2018. They were taken down by the Winnipeg Jets in game seven last night by the score of 5-1. The game started out in their favor, going up 2-0 in the first before Pekka Rinne, the Predators star goalie, was pulled.
The Jets would go score late in the second period before opening it up mid-way through the third period. The Jets were led by Mark Scheifele and Paul Stastny who each had two goals. The lone goal from the Predators came from P.K. Subban.
The Jets will be playing the Las Vegas Golden Knights in the next round of the playoffs.
