According to loudwire.com WILLOW announced on Friday that her new album COPINGMECHANISM is going to be released on September 23rd. It features distorted vocal effects and has hints of nu-metal, however, there still has been no word on expected features for the album. Recently WILLOW’s track along with Avril Lavigne titled, Grow, was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award in the Alternative category, the awards air on August 28th. This album marks the second album after her transition into the realm of rock music, with WILLOW giving the first taste of her new music on Saturday night at Lollapalooza. Where she played the song, “Hover Like a Goddess.” The song was drum heavy and was introduced by WILLOW stating, “Every woman deserves to be worshiped. … This song is an ode to the divine goddess within us all.” Currently WILLOW is on tour along with Machine Gun Kelly for the rest of this month.
