Willie Nelson’s former residence in Nashville was just sold for $2.14 million in a deal that was closed on January 6th, 2023. His 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom log cabin is set on 150 rural acres in Goodlettsville, Tennessee and was originally put on the market for $ 3 million in June of 2022, before the asking price was brought down to $2.5 million in December.
The cabin actually caught on fire when Nelson was outside in 1970, which gave way to a famous story where he rushed to the house to rescue his guitar, Trigger, along with a pound of marijuana. He had also lived at the residence while the events took place that led to his song, “Shotgun Willie,” the title song off of his 16th studio album that debuted in 1973.
