Willie Nelson Unveils 75th Studio Album ‘The Border,’ Embarks on Outlaw Music Festival Tour

At the remarkable age of 90, Willie Nelson is not slowing down, instead, he’s thrilling fans with the announcement of his 75th studio album, “The Border,” set to release on May 31. This new chapter in Nelson’s storied career kicks off with the title track, a captivating cover of Rodney Cowell’s song from the album “Texas.” The album promises a mix of fresh melodies and Nelson classics, featuring four tracks co-authored with his trusted collaborator, Buddy Cannon.

Following his recent “Bluegrass” EP, “The Border” is eagerly anticipated and coincides with Nelson hosting his annual Luck Reunion at his Texas ranch. The event will showcase talents like Tyler Childers and John Oates, among others. Moreover, Nelson is set to hit the road for his annual Outlaw Music Festival Tour this summer, sharing the stage with legends like Bob Dylan and Robert Plant & Allison Krause.

The tour is expected to be a monumental celebration of music, beginning on June 21 in Alpharetta, Georgia, and concluding on September 17 in Buffalo, New York. With a lineup of legendary artists and a promise of unforgettable performances, Nelson expressed his excitement about reconnecting with fans and sharing the music that fuels his enduring passion.
