Who’s on Top of the MLB Standings

Memorial Day weekend is just about here and the standings in baseball will certainly surprise you. While teams like the Indians, Nationals, and Dodgers are disappointing compared to preseason predictions, teams like the Braves, Phillies, Brewers and Mariners are really showing off.

The best record in baseball goes to the Boston Red Sox to no one’s surprise. They added J.D. Martinez to what was already a good lineup and things have gotten magical. Mookie Betts leads the league in many categories, which doesn’t hurt either.

The Milwaukee Brewers have the best record in the National League, just barely edging the Braves. Their 31-20 record is quite impressive and so is their bullpen. Jeremy Jeffress is sporting a 0.35 ERA in 25.2 innings pitched while Matt Albers has a 1.17 ERA through 23 innings. Those are just two of the stud relievers they have and there are more!

The baseball season is red hot and with playoffs coming closer to an end in the NHL and NBA, it’s time to start getting into the MLB.
