Now that December is finally here, you’re likely counting down the days until your favorite holiday. Advent calendars full of things like booze, jerky, or tea have been huge hits this year, and Whole Foods wants to join in on the countdown fun by bringing back the 12 Days of Cheese promotion that includes deals on different cheeses throughout the month.
Starting on December 12 and running all the way through December 23, Whole Foods is offering 50 percent off select cheeses everyday. For those who are Prime members, you can score an extra 10 percent off. Each day during the promotion, a different unique cheese from Whole Foods will go on sale.
On the first day of the countdown, a Klare Melk Truffle Gouda will be marked down. It’s a rich, semifirm, flavorful cheese with notes of sweet cream, butter, and truffle. In the days following, the cheeses include the title-winning Uplands Cheese Company Pleasant Ridge Reserve, Mitica Cordobes, Cowgirl Creamery Organic Hop Along, Caseificio dell’Alta Langa La Tur, Sweet Grass Dairy Thomasville Tomme, MonS Gabietou, The Cellars at Jasper Hill Farm Harbison, Emmi Kaltbach Cave-Aged Le Gruyère, Cypress Grove Humboldt Fog, Neal’s Yard Dairy Sparkenhoe Red Leicester, and Rogue Creamery Organic Enraptured Blanc.
There’s no better way to gear up for the holidays than with luxurious cheeses to add to your charcuterie boards, pair with your favorite wines, include in your pasta dishes or to enjoy completely on their own. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, indeed.
