When it comes to television, HGTV has cornered the market on addictive home renovation series, but with such an expansive programming slate, it can be hard to keep track of premieres. For example, many fans of Fixer to Fabulous with Dave and Jenny Marrs didn’t realize that their beloved series was returning on January 7! (If you missed the premiere, don’t fret – you can still stream them on Discovery+ or Max.)
As for the rest on the HGTV slate, don’t worry because TV Insider has rounded up all of the titles that are returning with new episodes in 2025, ranging from longtime favorites like Home Town and My Lottery Dream Home to new hits like Renovation Aloha and Divided by Design. Below is what we know about what’s returning… so far.
Divided by Design – Season 1 (Part Two)
The first season of Divided by Design is officially returning with its second half this month. Eilyn and Ray Jimenez will be back for more Miami-based shenanigans. In the season’s first half, we watched as opposing design firms and battled each other on the market. “A lot of you have been asking, and I’m happy to announce that the second half of Divided by Design will return in January 2025. Expect more captivating designs and unexpected twists as the journey continues — stay tuned!” Eilyn wrote in a post that was also shared on Ray’s Instagram page. The post included a black-and-white photo of the husband and wife on set filming a promo for the show.
Home Town – Season 9
In Home Town, another wife-husband, duo, Erin and Ben Napier, renovate houses in their hometown in Mississippi. Their goal is to help first-time home buyers, grandparents, and young families settle into a home that they’ll love. The show rapidly became a hit on the network by highlighting the couples’ unique renovations of historic homes in Laurel, Mississippi.
Erin focuses on graphic design and styling. Meanwhile, Ben focuses on woodworking and building. They do their best to preserve the homes and keep its distinct character intact, while adding some affordable modern touches. Together, they create the ultimate duo for this renovation series. Currently, Season 9 is scheduled to officially air this month!
Down Home Fab – Season 3
While no premiere date for Down Home Fab has been confirmed, casting for Season 3 was announced by HGTV in October 2024. Considering this, the possibility of Chelsea and Cole DeBoer‘s return in 2025 is strong. As fans know, the show follows the DeBoers as they work on building their design business while also raising four kids.
In the past seasons, Chelsea and Cole from Teen Mom 3 worked together to convert homes for their clients in Sioux Fall, South Dakota. Cole is the project manager and a jack-of-all trades. Chelsea focuses on design plans and creating bold visions that align with their customers’ ideas. The couple also showcases some of their married life on a Midwestern Farm, making the series a great family and renovation show.
Married to Real Estate – Season 4
Similarly, Married to Real Estate‘s Mike Jackson teased that Season 4 of the series was filming in the summer of 2024, hinting at episodes to come. There’s a strong chance that he and wife Egypt Sherrod will be back on screens with new episodes in 2025. Together, Jackson and Sherrod use their real estate savvy to get clients into their dream neighborhoods while also providing some truly stellar renovations.
Like the Boers, this duo is also married, so fans get to see some of their home life and how they manage their business with a full schedule. Their overall goal, though, is to get clients into their dream home that they otherwise believed they couldn’t afford. With strict budgeting and their combined expertise, this show teaches fans all about smart purchases.
Rock the Block – Season 6
Season 6 of Rock the Block will take HGTV by storm in Spring 2025 with fan-favorite network personalities Alison Victoria, Jonathan Knight, and many more set to compete in the show hosted by Ty Pennington. For those who don’t know, Rock the Block sees designers take over blank houses on the same street where they make them over in their signature style for a chance to win the top prize.
For the first time ever, Season 5 released 7 episodes that contained several returning stars from past seasons. Twins Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis from Unsellable Houses were armed with a budget of $250,000. What will Season 6 bring? You’ll have to tune in to find out!
Renovation Aloha – Season 2
New network favorite Renovation Aloha will be back with Season 2 in 2025, with an exact premiere window yet to be announced. HGTV ordered 10 new episodes of the Hawaii-based show starring husband-wife duo Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama. Together, they transform some of Hawaii’s most run-down properties into shiny new homes.
Both of them were born and raised on the island, making their investment much more personal than some of the other shows. Together they work with their 87 first cousins to beat strict deadlines and unpredictable weather as they revamp houses on the beautiful island.
Ugliest House in America – Season 6
While HGTV hasn’t given any official updates about the upcoming sixth season, Ugliest House in America host Retta teased the show’s return on social media, posting in June 2024, “And don’t you worry because Season 6 of Ugliest is IN THE WORKS!” as she promoted her show Scariest House in America. For those less acquainted with the series, Ugliest House in America tracks Retta as she travels across the country to find the ugliest homes, whoever is deemed to have the ugliest home wins a renovation from designer Alison Victoria.
The criteria are simple. Finalists are selected based on ugly appearance and poor functionality and the winner receives $150,000 to go toward renovations.
Fix My Frankenhouse – Season 2
Renewed for Season 2 in January 2024, the series Fix My Frankenhouse was ordered for eight all-new episodes by the network. The husband-wife duo, Denese and Mike Butler, come together to take on Frankenstein-like home projects. These homes are generally older and have warped over the years. From mislaid stairs to wonky layouts with maze-like halls, this Boston couple on Fix my Frankenhouse has seen it all. Denese collaborates with clients to develop a style and design they’d like. However, Mike puts his woodworking and building skills to use as he creates a more functional layout for the homes.
100 Day Dream Home – Season 6
Husband-wife duo Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt have confirmed that they’re coming back for Season 6 in an Instagram post shared in October 2024. While no premiere date has been set, it’s possible new episodes could arrive in 2025. For those who aren’t as familiar with 100 Day Dream Home, the pair from Tampa, Florida work together to make dream homes come true with Mika serving as a realtor and Brian as a developer, together they design and build the perfect homes from the ground up in 100 days or less.
