Where Do You Stand on the New Pringles Miller Lite Mashup Flavors?

Pringles is coming out with limited-edition chips that pair together the popular summer flavors of chips and beer, but without having to throw a backyard bar-be-cue.

As Parade reports, the brand teamed up with brewing company Miller Lite for the third time to create two new flavors of its stackable potato chips “inspired by beer-infused backyard barbecue favorites,” according to a news release. “Two things go hand in hand as the weather warms up: a crisp drink and a delicious snack,” the news release reads.

The two companies previously announced a somewhat controversial Beer Can Chicken chip flavor and a Grilled Beer Brat variety (which appears to be the winner of the bunch based on fan reactions).

The two newest flavors – beer can chicken and grilled beer brat – will release in May, and once released, customers will be able to search where to buy them on Pringles’ website. The beer can chicken crisp combines the flavors of roasted chicken, garlic, onion and Miller Lite’s light lager beer, while the grilled beer brat crisp combines the flavors of grilled brat, black pepper, caramelized onion, brown spice and Miller Lite, according to the news release.

“We know fans already infuse Miller Lite’s iconic flavor into grilled staples, so bringing those same flavors into an ultimate savory snack with Pringles felt like a seamless fit for fans to snack on at their backyard barbecues this summer,” Ann Legan, the vice president of marketing at Miller Family Brands, said in the news release.

However, as Parade reports, if you read the social media comments in response to the announcement, not everyone seems so thrilled. Snackers now remain divided over Pringles and Miller Lite’s Beer-Braised Steak, with some too excited to contain their emotions and others complaining that they can’t possibly imagine this flavor being any good.

“This is one of the things that I wouldn’t go looking for but if I see it I would try it.”

“These look so fun 🤩

“I hope I don’t get drunk”

“It’s just going to be chips with liquid smoke and smoked paprika on them. Yuck”

Mauricio Jenkins, head of marketing for Pringles in the United States, said in the news release while the flavors are “unexpected,” they “satisfy” customer cravings.  “These crisps marry the best flavors of summer into one delicious bite that we can’t wait for fans to experience. We hope the new flavors kick off grilling season on a deliciously crispy note,” Jenkins said.

So, where do you stand on the new flavors? Perhaps you need to get some and make your feelings known!
