The When We Were Young Festival, featuring over 60 emo, punk, and rock bands that hit nostalgia hard, have recently added a second and third date due to an overwhelming amount of ticket sales for the initial, single date.
While the first two dates of the festival are set to occur back-to-back on October 22nd and 23rd, the third date will take place the following weekend. The only changes to the massive lineup will be a lack of return from Wolf Alice and La Dispute, as well as the new addition of Alex G to the festival stage.
The When We Were Young Festival is organized by Live Nation and, while the company has been under serious scrutiny following the Astroworld tragedy that left 10 dead and hundreds injured due to security failures, fans, bands, and spectators have been reassured that the safety of everyone has been “thoroughly planned for.”
A pre-sale for the festival’s third date will begin on Jan. 31 at 10 AM PT for those who have signed up for early access to passes at the festival website.
