British indie rock sensation Wet Leg has unveiled “Catch These Fists,” the lead single from their forthcoming album Moisturizer. The track delivers the band’s signature blend of infectious energy and playful swagger, marking their first major release since their self-titled debut in 2022.
In addition to Wet Leg’s latest offering, the upcoming compilation The Contenders, Vol. 7 features a demo version of Sufjan Stevens’ “Mystery of Love,” originally recorded for his 2015 album Carrie & Lowell. This raw rendition provides listeners with an intimate glimpse into the song’s evolution.
The Contenders, Vol. 7 also showcases a diverse array of artists, including harpist Ashley Jackson’s “Unrest,” pianist George Xiaoyuan Fu’s inventive “Passacaglia on a Theme by Radiohead,” and Alexander Knaifel’s “Stanza I-VII.” Each track contributes to the compilation’s rich tapestry of contemporary music.
Fans can anticipate the release of Moisturizer and explore the eclectic sounds presented in The Contenders, Vol. 7, both highlighting the dynamic landscape of today’s music scene.
