Wendy Williams has weighed in on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ recent arrest, expressing her belief that an investigation into the rapper was long overdue. Combs, once hailed as a rap icon, is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, facing serious charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and facilitating prostitution.
Williams, 60, has never shied away from criticizing the 54-year-old music mogul throughout her career. In an exclusive statement to DailyMail.com, she shared her relief that Combs is now under investigation.
“I’ve been told by so many people, ‘Wendy, you called it,'” she said, noting that even her family members have echoed similar sentiments.
The former talk show host, who has been managing her health after being diagnosed with aphasia, said she was particularly disturbed by footage of Combs allegedly abusing his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in a hotel lobby.
While Williams remains focused on her own well-being, she made it clear she feels justice is being served with Combs’ legal troubles, marking a significant turn in the public’s perception of the once-revered artist.
