Weezer recently returned as the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night in order to perform a song from their project, SZNZ EP cycle, titled, “I Want a Dog.” Dressed in quarter-zips and plaid button up shirts, the screen behind them showed a tundra as Rivers Cuomo played the track’s guitar solo, a flurry of snow covered the band.
Weezer’s performanc eon Jimmy Kimmel Live! can be seen on YouTube. Weezer’s SZNZ: Winter is out today, December 21st. Weezer started their seasonal EPs back in March with SZNZ Spring, followed up by ZSNZ: Summer in June, and SZNZ: Autumn in September. The band performed tracks from those cycles as well on Kimmel.
