There were multiple highlights from a Wednesday night filled with basketball.
The Charlotte Hornets blew out the Detroit Pistons, 140-111. The Hornets collectively set the record for most three-point shots in a single game in the team’s history.
The Brooklyn Nets defeated the Indiana Pacers, 129-121. Controversial Nets star Kyrie Irving returned for the first time this season, as he is only allowed to play away games due to his vaccination status.
On Dirk Nowitzki’s statue-reveal night, the Dallas Mavericks shockingly upset the Golden State Warriors, 99-82. The Mavericks were able to shut down offensive juggernaut Steph Curry, as he only scored 14 points.
Finally, in one of the best matchups of the evening, the Utah Jazz defeated the Denver Nuggets, 115-109. Star shooting forward Bojan Bogdanovic scored 36 points and had 13 rebounds in the dramatic victory for the Jazz.
