Washington Redskins Sign Adrian Peterson to One Year Deal

The Washington Redskins thought they had their running back of the future when they selected Derrius Guice in the second round of the draft this offseason. Well, they probably do but because he tore his ACL weeks back, they have an immediate need at the position. TO remedy the situation, the team has signed Adrian Peterson to a one-year deal. He was once the best back in the league, but nowadays he’s worth the veteran minimum, just $1.1015 million.

Last year Peterson played in six games for the Cardinals rushing for 448 yards on 3.5 yards per carry. He also played for the Saints at the beginning of the year, rushing for 82 yards on 3.0 yards per carry.
