Vera Wang isn’t slowing down at 76 — she’s just getting started. The iconic designer celebrated her birthday in classic Vera fashion, turning heads in Paris with a sleek, youthful look that defies age stereotypes.
Wang marked the occasion at the chic Le Relais Plaza at Hôtel Plaza Athénée, wearing a plunging black minidress and over-the-knee boots, her signature pin-straight hair cascading down her back. The look was bold, confident, and a reminder of why Wang remains a global fashion icon.
In a playful twist, the designer shared snaps of her glittering “76” arm tattoo and a neon yellow birthday cake topped with candles and a towering “76” centerpiece. “A SMALLISH CAKE for yet another BIG BIRTHDAY…. 🙂🙃🎂👏🖤,” Wang captioned the Instagram post, radiating her signature mix of elegance and humor.
But the celebration isn’t stopping at cake. Wang recently sold her eponymous brand to WHP Global after 35 years, retaining her role as chief creative officer. “It’s exciting,” she told Vogue Business. “Their energy and ambition align perfectly with my vision.”
