Usher’s 14 Wins at the 2004 BBMAs

The year was 2004 and Usher had just released his album, Confessions. This album had hits like “Confessions,” “Yeah!,” “Burn,” and “Caught Up,” which makes it no surprise that this album and its singles would have such great success at the 2004 Billboard Music Awards.

That year, Usher would win 14 awards including the Top Billboard 200 Album for Confessions. He also won Top Hot 100 Song for “Yeah!” which featured artists Lil Jon and Ludacris. And who could forget that he won Top Artist!?

Usher’s Confessions album should be considered one of the best since 2000 and it proved it with its success at the 2004 Billboard Music Awards.

Only Whitney Houston has won more BBMAs in one year. She won 15 in 1993, which seems like an impossible feat to beat these days. If anyone could do it though, it would be The Weeknd and his 19 nominations this year.
