After taking the blame for Indiana’s Game 3 collapse, Tyrese Haliburton delivered one of the most efficient playoff performances in NBA history Tuesday night. The Pacers star exploded for 32 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds with zero turnovers, powering Indiana to a 130-121 win over the Knicks and a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Haliburton is now the only player to ever post a 30-point, 15-assist, 10-rebound triple-double without a turnover in playoff history. “I just tried to respond the right way,” he said after the game. “I felt like I let my team down in Game 3.”
The performance came with added emotion: Haliburton’s father, John, attended his first playoff game since an incident with Giannis Antetokounmpo in Round 1. “It meant a lot,” Haliburton said. “But I was most proud of how we answered as a team.”
Indiana’s offensive rhythm returned, with Pascal Siakam adding 30 points and Bennedict Mathurin sparking off the bench. Coach Rick Carlisle praised Haliburton’s poise: “There may be a statistical category named after him one day.”
Game 5 shifts to New York, but the Pacers now hold the momentum—and one win away from the NBA Finals.
