Grammy fever is all around and this next year’s event should be better than ever. With James Carden hosting the 59th Grammy Awards, we’re sure it’ll be more than worth a watch. We’re sure there are two bands more than excited about going to next year’s Grammys and they are Blink-182 and Twenty One Pilots
These two bands are surprisingly up for their first Grammy ever. While Twenty One Pilots isn’t all that surprising because they’ve only recently hit the scene, Blink-182 has been around since the 90s and had a major hit with “What’s My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things.” They’ll be up for the Best Rock Album award thanks to their summer release, “California.”
Twenty One Pilots has plenty of chances at a Grammy award and deservingly so. Their trio of hits released in the past 18 months or so have been great. Either one or both of the members are up for Record of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Song Written for Visual Media.
Congrats to these two bands on an amazing year and we look forward to seeing what they do at the 2017 Grammys.
