If you’re an HGTV fan, you’re going to want to clear your calendar for the evening of May 1. As Parade magazine reports, the network just revealed that Friday as the premiere date for new seasons of two hit reality shows with fan-favorite celebrity hosts: My Lottery Dream Home and Zillow Gone Wild.
And even better, HGTV has officially revealed that a crossover episode of the two shows is set to come to our screens.
David Bromstad’s My Lottery Dream Home Is Returning for Season 20
Season 20 of My Lottery Dream Home will premiere on HGTV on Friday, May 1, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The show follows interior designer and TV host David Bromstad, who helps clients who have recently come into a financial fortune find their dream homes.
The upcoming season’s debut episode will follow a couple named Steve and Jen, with whom Bromstad actually worked in the past to find a home in Florida. In this follow up episode, Bromstad will help Steve and Jen find a mountain cabin in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, thanks to an inheritance Jen received.
Jack McBrayer Is Back for Season 3 of Zillow Gone Wild
Season 3 of Zillow Gone Wild will debut on HGTV on Friday, May 1, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, directly after My Lottery Dream Home airs. Episodes will stream the next day on HBO Max.
On Zillow Gone Wild, 30 Rock actor and comedian Jack McBrayer travels the nation to explore some of the most eccentric and unique homes on the market. At the end of each episode, one home is dubbed the “wildest.”
In the new season’s premiere, McBrayer will tour three truly wild homes. In Texas, he’ll explore a home that features 40 feet of a Boeing 727 airplane; in Pennsylvania, he’ll check out a “trippy studio designed to make your eyes vibrate;” and in Miami, he’ll tour an all-pink 1970s penthouse apartment.
My Lottery Dream Home and Zillow Gone Wild Are Planning a Crossover Episode
And later this year, fans of these two reality shows will get to experience them both at once. Bromstad and McBrayer will team up in a crossover episode that will serve as Zillow Gone Wild‘s season finale. In the episode, the two hosts will travel together to the Florida community Reunion to explore an “international spy inspired home.”
