Twisted Sister Returns to Celebrate 50 Years of Heavy Metal

After nearly a decade away from full-scale touring, Twisted Sister is preparing to crank the volume back up in 2026 as the legendary metal band celebrates its 50th anniversary.

The milestone reunion brings together key members of the band’s classic lineup for a worldwide celebration honoring five decades of hard-hitting performances and unforgettable anthems. Fans have been waiting years for another opportunity to see the group on stage, making the anniversary announcement one of the biggest stories in classic rock.

Founding guitarist Jay Jay French reflected on the band’s remarkable journey from its early club days to becoming a global rock powerhouse, while guitarist Eddie Ojeda praised the lasting connection between the band and generations of fans. Frontman Dee Snider also embraced the occasion, saying the continued demand from audiences made returning to the stage an easy decision.

Adding to the nostalgic lineup, former drummer Joe Franco will return behind the kit, while Russell Pzütto will handle bass duties during the anniversary performances.
