Twenty One Pilots’ music video for track “Heathens” just reached two billion views on YouTube, after “Stressed Out” already did so. Heathens was originally released as the lead single from the Suicide Squad soundtrack in June of 2016, with the video showing members Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph in Belle Reve, a prison in the DC Comics universe. The video also has footage of the movie’s cast members throughout the dark music video.
After it’s release, Heathens was a success for the rock duo, spending 39 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number two. The track also earned them three nominations at the 59th annual Grammy Awards for best rock song, best rock performance and best song written for visual media.
