TV Show Renewals and Cancellations Make News

You may not have heard, but CBS has given the green light for 11 series next year, happy news for the stars, the production teams, and fans. The shows that earned another year are in renewal are “Blue Bloods,” NCIS: New Orleans,” “Survivor,” “The Amazing Race,” “Bull,” “Hawaii Five-O,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “48 Hours,” “Madam Secretary,” “MacGyver,” and “60 Minutes.”

Current CBS shows “Superior Donuts,” “Kevin Can Wait,” “Man With a Plan,” “Scorpion,” and “Criminal Minds,” may not be renewed. The current shows “Seal Team” and “Swat,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Young Sheldon,” “Mom,” and “NCIS” had received earlier renewal news this year.

ABC renewed “The Good Doctor,” “The Goldberg’s” and “Modern Family” in March. The NBC series “Taken” will be pulled as we speak but will likely return for a summer return.
