According to tasteofcountry.com, Travis Denning’s New EP Might As Well Be Me has an acoustic ballad that is titled, “If You Need Anything Down Here.” It is an emotional track about a loved ones death that is slightly unexpected. Denning shared that the idea for the track came from his friend and soon to be brother in law, Walker Montgomery, who learned that his dog had died unexpectedly. Denning is quoted in saying, “A young dog, and he was up in Kentucky and it was just tough. It was tough for everybody, I texted him and just said, ‘Hey, if you need anything down here in Nashville while you’re up there, let me know.'” Paul DiGiovanni and Lee Thomas Miller helped Denning turn his ideas into one of his favorite songs of all time, leading to the track “If You Need Anything Down Here.”
