Train and REO Speedwagon Embark on a Nostalgic Summer Road Trip 2024 Tour

Two titans of pop-rock, Train and REO Speedwagon, with a combined success of 32 Billboard hits and over 50 million albums sold, are uniting for an exhilarating co-headlining tour. The Summer Road Trip 2024 promises a journey through the duo’s storied musical history, starting on July 8 in Somerset, Wisconsin, and culminating on September 11 in Phoenix. Fans can expect a full spectrum of classic and contemporary hits as they join Yacht Rock Revue for all 45 dates of this nationwide musical odyssey.

Anticipation for the tour is high, with tickets going on sale from January 31 through February 1 for Citi cardmembers, followed by a public release on February 2. The excitement is set to build with a special performance at Los Angeles’ legendary Whisky A Go Go on February 1, with tickets available via the bands’ websites.

The collaboration between Train and REO Speedwagon extends beyond the tour; they’re slated for a joint debut performance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday. This collaboration stems from a mutual admiration, as highlighted by REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin’s warm sentiments about Train’s lead singer, Patrick Monahan.

Train, known for hits like “Drops of Jupiter” and “Hey, Soul Sister,” continues to charm audiences, most recently with their 2022 album “AM Gold.” REO Speedwagon, meanwhile, brings a rich legacy of ‘70s and ‘80s anthems, including “Keep On Loving You” and “Can’t Fight This Feeling.” This tour promises to be a blend of nostalgia and fresh energy, perfect for fans old and new.
