TOOL is set to make their South American debut with their first live performances of 2025. The band will headline four major festivals next March, including Lollapalooza Chile in Santiago, Lollapalooza Argentina in Buenos Aires, Lollapalooza Brasil in São Paulo, and Festival Estéreo Picnic in Bogotá, Colombia.
This announcement comes after TOOL spent much of 2023 and early 2024 on tour. Earlier this year, bassist Justin Chancellor hinted at the possibility of the band recording new music in the latter half of 2024. After taking 13 years between 10,000 Days and Fear Inoculum, fans have been eagerly awaiting new material, and Chancellor assured that the wait won’t be as long this time.
“We’re just getting old, so there’s pressure with time,” Chancellor explained. “Danny just turned 63, so if we take 13 more years, we’ll be touring in our 70s. We need to get things moving if we want to keep going strong.”
TOOL’s South American tour marks an exciting new chapter for the band, giving fans across the continent a chance to experience their powerful live shows for the first time.
