Tom Holland recently confirmed reports that he is “on the mend” following a mild concussion sustained while filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day on September 19. Holland shared the update in a heartfelt Instagram post, thanking fans and medical staff for their support during his recovery. The accident reportedly occurred during a stunt sequence at Leavesden Studios in the UK, prompting a brief production pause while Holland received treatment.
Doctors diagnosed a mild traumatic brain injury, and Holland has been advised to rest before resuming filming. Despite his condition, Holland remained publicly active. He appeared at a fundraising gala for The Brothers Trust (the charity he runs with his brothers), but departed early due to health concerns. In his social posts, he expressed gratitude, noted that he’s feeling better, and said he looks forward to picking up work again soon.
As filming is expected to resume in the near future, Holland and the production team emphasize that his well-being is the priority. The movie is still slated for its July 31, 2026 release.
