Golf legend Tiger Woods is set to make a vibrant return to the green and the fashion scene with the launch of his new “Sun Day Red” apparel and footwear line in collaboration with TaylorMade. Officially announced in Los Angeles just in time for his comeback at the Genesis Invitational, the brand is slated for a May 1 release, featuring a fresh tiger logo that marks a departure from his previous “TW” insignia.
This bold move follows Woods’ departure from a long-standing partnership with Nike, concluding a 27-year collaboration that saw him become one of the most iconic figures in sports fashion. The new “Sun Day Red” line pays homage to Woods’ trademark final-round attire, a nod to the power color his mother, Kultida Woods, believed would bring him strength and victory on Sundays.
Woods’ return to the PGA Tour at the Genesis Invitational comes after a hiatus since his withdrawal from the Masters last April. Amidst recovering from a right ankle procedure and other injuries, Woods’ participation in this week’s 70-man field event marks a significant step in his journey back to professional golf.
With plans to compete in approximately one tournament per month based on his health, Woods’ latest venture into apparel with TaylorMade signals a new chapter for the golf icon, both on and off the course.
